William Percy II (1837-1913)

William Percy married Elizabeth Richards in 1864 at Ollera, near Guyra NSW. William Percy died at Tingha, NSW in 1913. His death certificate is here.

A record of his residence at Ollera appears in the Official Post Office Directory of NSW 1867 on page 19. It records him as 'Resident, Ollera'.

It is quite possible that William Percy arrived in Australia via the ship Bank of England in 1852:

Some details here: http://www.nla.gov.au/ferguson/14403897/18521009/00090445/1-4.pdf. He was unassisted: http://www.records.nsw.gov.au/state-archives/indexes-online/results?state=&fields=%25percy%3B&names=Names%2C&Index=Index%20to%20the%20Unassisted%20Arrivals%20NSW%201842-1855&id=43&Names=%25percy&SUBMIT=Submit+Query

His death certificate suggests he was in NSW for 57 years as at 1913, so this puts his date of arrival at about 1856. He would have been 18 years old then.
