A William Percy was elected as the director of the sheep scab district of Canonba in NSW (not far from Gunnedah). DEAD END: The William Percy here was elected in 1864. Canonba, the district, is closer to Cobar. This would most likely be the same William Percy who cooked the books of the shearers union and not our William Percy.
